Sewing the Sisterhood. 2020

Join us in the Shared Threads studio for an embroidery hoop workshop with a twist. In the run up to International Women's Day, we thought it would be fun to sew words celebrating sisterhood. Words that encourage, celebrate and challenge. As always at our embroidery hoop workshops, you will learn how to design and embroider your own hoop art. You will learn how to transfer and hand embroider words and how to finish off the back of the hoop so that it can hang on the wall.

All equipment will be provided for you on the day, however feel free to bring a piece of material to use that is special to you if you like. At the end of the workshop you will take away your own beautiful hoop and if needed, there will be materials available to take away with you, which will allow you to finish off your hoop at home.

No experience in sewing is necessary. Book your place quickly because spaces are limited.
