Donating materials

All our period packs are made from secondhand cotton. We love that your bundles of unwanted material can be turned into period pads that keeps girls in school.

We would be delighted for you to donate any of the following items.

Pants. We put 2 pairs of pants in every period pack. Brand new, UK size 8 or 10.

Dress making pins.

Dress making scissors.

Rotary cutters.

Cutting boards.

Ribbon or cord for drawstring bags.

If it is easier for you, donations of money are extremely welcome and used to buy any of these essentials and more.

At the moment, we are not accepting fabric donations in the studio because have a surplus  and no room to store them.  However, if you are going to attend one of our pad making workshops, these are the materials that you can bring along to be used.

Old towels. We use these for the middle of the pads.

100% dark coloured or patterned secondhand cotton. We like the packs to look pretty for the girls and dark, patterned fabric hides harder to remove stains.

Thank you for your generosity.  With every donation, you are taking positive action against period poverty. To equip women to manage their period with dignity, to get an education and thrive. Thank you for being part of the solution.
